Terms of Service

Last updated: July 30, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the VectorField Planner API and website (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Haoming Technology Co., Ltd. ("VectorField", "we", "us"). By creating an API key or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

VectorField Planner provides a REST API for robot motion planning: you upload an occupancy-grid map, we compute a distance field, and you query optimal paths against it. The Service is provided in tiers (Free, Pay-as-you-go, Fleet, On-prem) as described on our pricing page.

2. API keys and acceptable use

3. Usage limits and metering

Each tier has usage limits (solves per day, queries per day, maximum map size) as published on the pricing page and enforced by the API. Exceeding a limit returns an error; it does not automatically incur charges.

4. Payments

Paid tiers are sold through Paddle.com Market Ltd ("Paddle"), our Merchant of Record. Paddle is the seller of record for your purchase, handles billing, sales tax/VAT, and invoicing, and its own terms apply to the transaction. Prices are listed on the pricing page; pay-as-you-go usage is metered per calendar period and billed in arrears.

5. Service level and changes

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We target high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change the API with reasonable notice for breaking changes; non-breaking changes may ship without notice.

6. Your data

You retain all rights to the maps you upload. You grant us the limited right to process them solely to provide the Service. We do not use your maps to train models or share them with third parties. See our Privacy Policy.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VectorField is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or robot downtime, arising from use of the Service. Our aggregate liability is capped at the amounts you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim. You are responsible for validating planner output for your specific safety requirements before deploying it on physical robots.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may terminate or suspend access for breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the API ceases; prepaid subscription time is handled per our Refund Policy.
